EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Vennie Gore, assistant vice president for Michigan State University's Division of Residential and Hospitality Services, was recently elected vice president of the Association of College and University Housing Officers-International.
Gore will serve a three-year term, and will subsequently move into president-elect and president positions. The vice president serves as the liaison with external association business partners and the organization's Foundation Board. Gore will also assist with the management of task forces and committees, oversee constitutional reviews and serve as association leader in the absence of the president and president-elect.
"I am both humbled and honored to be elected to this position and could not have accepted without the support and encouragement of Fred Poston, vice president of finance and operations for MSU," Gore said. "This election reflects the hard work of many people who work at MSU and our university's positive reputation."
