Pottery artist Andy Shaw will discuss research on his craft during a public lecture on Jan. 26. He will speak at 7 p.m. in room 108 of Kresge.
In addition, Shaw will conduct a hands-on presentation at 3 p.m. Jan. 25 at the Kresge Art Center Ceramics Studio.
Shaw's ceramic style combines purity and simplicity with the complexity of pattern and texture. He is a recent recipient of an Evelyn Shapiro Fellowship at The Clay Studio and was included in the 2009 Australian Ceramics Triennale.
