MSU business students to hold mock career fair

The Michigan State University Women in Business Students’ Association will hold a mock career fair, from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 6 in the Erickson Hall Kiva on campus.

Corporate representatives from JC Penney, Plante Moran, Target, Shell, Ernst & Young, and Altria will provide feedback to students on their resumes, 30-second speeches, and professional attire. This practice environment gives students the ability to learn from their mistakes and perfect them in time for an actual career fair. All students are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity for professional development.

The Mock Career Fair is one of the many events that the association offers to facilitate the professional development of members. Organization members also participate in various community service, social, and fundraising events to ensure the growth of members personally and professionally as well as bi-weekly exposure to Fortune 500 representatives.
