Free 'estate planning' seminar at MSU Federal Credit Union set

Melissa K. Allen, an estate planning attorney, will discuss how to avoid the lengthy and often very costly probate process at a seminar from noon to 1 p.m. Sept. 22, at the Michigan State University Federal Credit Union headquarters, 3777 West Road in East Lansing.

 

She also will discuss the difference between wills and trusts, and the importance of getting wishes in writing regarding life support issues and protecting assets in the event of disability.
