Michigan State University Dean's List now online

Re:  Michigan State University Dean's List

Grades for spring semester have been processed, and media outlets now can view Michigan State University's Dean's List online at http://www.reg.msu.edu/ROInfo/GradHonor/DeansList.asp.

MSU has moved to an online system for providing media outlets with the names of students who have been named to the Dean's List. The Web site is searchable by zip code. Simply select the desired semester from the pull-down menu and "All Colleges" from the list of colleges before searching by zip code.

The Dean's List honors all full-time undergraduates in the university who earn a 3.50 or better grade point average for the given semester and for which grades have been recorded under the numerical grading system. The data displayed in the Dean's List may be affected by students who restrict some or all information about themselves that the university may release. Dean’s List information as far back as summer semester 2004 is included on the Web site.

I hope that you will find this system to be a better method than the hard copy lists that have been provided in the past.

Our graduation list has not yet moved online, but should be by the end of the summer. If you would like a list of spring graduates from your area, please contact Loriane Hodack at hodack@msu.edu.

Thank you for your assistance in sharing the good news of this achievement by MSU students in your area.

Cordially,
