EAST LANSING, Mich. � This year 53 Michigan State University students were nominated for the MSU Student Employee of the Year award and recognized for their contributions to their workplaces.

The program allows supervisors the chance to honor outstanding student employees who contribute to their departments and to the university.

This year�s MSU Student Employee of the Year recipient, Deanna DeHaven of East Lansing, also won the state of Michigan Student Employee of the Year Award. She is a senior majoring in social work and worked as a department aide at Olin Health Center.
