EAST LANSING, Mich. - As at other sporting events throughout the country, safety and security measures at Spartan Stadium will be heightened for the Michigan State-Michigan outdoor hockey game on Saturday, Oct. 6, and at all remaining home football games.

According to MSU Police Chief Bruce Benson, additional police officers will be assigned to the events. Also, absolutely no containers will be permitted to enter Spartan Stadium. This includes such items as coolers, thermoses, bags, bottles, cans, flasks, backpacks and large purses. Admission will not be granted to anyone carrying any of the above items. Any fan found inside Spartan Stadium violating this policy will have these articles confiscated and may be escorted from the stadium.
