MSU gears up for Halloween

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Halloween might be nearly a week away, but Michigan State University's campus goblins and ghouls of all ages are catching the Halloween spirit a little bit early.

Residence Life staff members around campus have scheduled a variety of events both on and off campus this week. The events are open to MSU students and some are open to the public.

Jane Olson, coordinator for public relations for the Department of Residence Life, believes that Halloween reminds students of when they were at home.

"They work so hard on the events they plan and really look forward to them," she said. "Many groups invite people from the area which is a great opportunity to give back to the community."
