Winston, Langford lead Michigan State past Notre Dame, 81-63

Sophomore guards Joshua Langford and Cassius Winston scored 17 points apiece and No. 3/3 Michigan State used a big first half en route to an 81-63 win over No. 5/5 Notre Dame in a men's basketball game at the Breslin Center Thursday night.

It was the fourth-straight win for the Spartans, who improved to 6-1 overall, while the Fighting Irish fall to 6-1.

Langford hit 7-of-13 shots for 17 points, including 12 in the first half, while Winston hit 6-of-10 shots, including 5-of-6 from 3-point land, for 17 points, to go along with seven assists and five rebounds.
