MSU volleyball is in Italy on a foreign tour that is allowing the Spartans some high-level training and competition in addition to exposure to some of the country’s most important historical sites, cultural landmarks and breathtaking views of several cities throughout the country. As part of the tour, student-athletes will engage in academic study while abroad. These academic components of the trip will incorporate individualized learning and research opportunities for student-athletes to explore and study certain aspects of Italian culture, geography and governmental structure.
