CAL Citizen Scholars

April 12, 2017

The new Citizen Scholars Program at MSU's College of Arts & Letters is designed to prepare students to succeed academically as they gain experience through high-impact learning opportunities such as study abroad, undergraduate research and internships.

The standards of this program are high. Aspiration is at the heart of the program. Citizen Scholar Aspirants join a cohort of highly motivated students who support and challenge one another to take advantage of the extraordinary opportunities available at MSU. This program was created to bring out the best in students.

As a Citizen Scholar, students will cultivate the habits of engaged and active citizen leaders who are capable of working collaboratively with local, national and global organizations to create positive change.

Take the journey inside the program by checking out the video above where Citizen Scholar aspirants discuss why they joined this prestigious program and how it prepares students for success after graduation.
