For the second year in a row, Michigan State junior offensive tackle Cole Chewins has earned Academic All-America honors.
Chewins, a first-team selection in 2017, was named to the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-America Division I Second Team on Monday, as selected by CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America).
A native of Clarkston, Michigan, Chewins owns a 3.91 grade-point average as a finance major. He will graduate later this month and has been accepted to begin a master's program for finance in the 2019 spring semester.
