The following are a list of upcoming events at the Wharton Center.

Alton Brown Live: Eat Your Science Tour
8 p.m., April 7, Cobb Great Hall

  • New York Times bestselling author of “Good Eats,” Alton Brown, will bring his live culinary variety show to the Wharton Center. Brown promises “all-new everything including songs, new comedy, new puppets, and bigger and better potentially dangerous food demonstrations.”

Brian Regan
7:30 p.m., April 6, Cobb Great Hall

  • Comedian Brian Regan, a regular on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” will perform at the Wharton Center. “Brian Regan: “Live from Radio City Music Hall” made history in 2015 with the first ever live broadcast of a stand-up in Comedy Central’s history.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
April 11-16, Cobb Great Hall (times may vary)

  • Fifteen-year-old Christopher has an extraordinary brain; he is exceptionally intelligent, but ill equipped to interpret everyday life. When he falls under suspicion for killing his neighbor’s dog, he sets out to identify the true culprit, which leads to an earth-shattering discovery and a journey that will change his life forever. “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time” on Broadway is the recipient of five Tony Awards.

Wayne Shorter Quartet
8 p.m., April 21, Cobb Great Hall

  • Icon Wayne Shorter is a jazz titan and a prolific visionary whose work has made history. The nine-time Grammy winner has created unparalleled works of jazz and he continues to explore the art form. His performance will feature, John Patitucci on bass, pianist Danilo Perez and drummer Brian Blade — members of his band, Weather Report.
