Wharton Center to welcome Vienna Boys Choir

The Vienna Boys Choir, or VBC, is returning to Michigan State University’s Wharton Center with conductor Manolo Cagnin on Nov. 28 at 7:30 p.m. in Cobb Great Hall.

The Vienna Boys Choir will be presenting a musical evening performing everything from Gregorian chant and traditional Christmas carols to popular holiday favorites and songs from around the world.

The choir consists of 100 boys between the ages of 10 and 14, from dozens of nations, divided into four touring groups. Each group spends around ten weeks of the school year on tour.

Between them, the four choirs give 300 concerts and performances each year before almost half a million people. They visit virtually all European countries, and are frequent guests in Asia, Australia and the Americas.

There will be a free Insight Preview prior to this performance at 6:45 p.m. located in Cobb Great Hall.

Tickets can be bought online, at the Auto-Owners Insurance Ticket Office, or by calling 800-942-7866.
