Teresa Wehrwein, associate professor in the College of Nursing and associate dean for Academic and Clinical Affairs, was re-elected for a two-year term as secretary of the Michigan Primary Care Consortium's Board of Directors. Wehrwein also represents MSU's Institute for Health Policy.
The MPCC, a non-profit organization, is comprised of Michigan members who are health providers, major corporations, organized labor, pharmaceutical companies, state associations and other agencies/organizations with an interest in the state's primary care efforts.
The MPCC is a collaborative partnership, established in 2006, that looks to improve the primary care delivery system with regard to disease prevention, health promotion and chronic disease services.
