Third annual MSU Women in STEM conference set for Oct. 9-10

MSU Women in STEM will take place Oct. 9-10 at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center.

All MSU alumnae, faculty, staff and friends are welcome to attend the conference, not just those working in the science, engineering and technology fields. A limited number of student registrations are also available.

The conference is an opportunity for attendees to connect and engage with others, expand their professional network and acquire tools and knowledge that can assist in furthering their career objectives.

Grace Gorrell, a professional training and coaching consultant, will give the keynote address on Oct. 9. Titled "Resilience: How to Power Forward During the Challenging Times," the keynote will explore how to create new and exciting opportunities in one’s career by becoming more resilient through challenging times.

On Oct. 10, the conference program will include presentations and breakout sessions that focus on professional development and leadership including:

· Image Essentials: An Introduction to Professional Presence

· Stress Less for Mindfulness

· Maximize Your Influence, Your Relationships and Your Life

One and two-day registration options are available.
