The State News’s e-book titled “Roses Have Never Been Greener” is now available for order.
The book contains the State News staff’s coverage of the 2013 MSU football season and 2014 Rose Bowl victory, including two dozen stories and more than 100 photos.
“This book is perfect for anybody who has a love of MSU and Spartan football,” said Omar Sofradzija, State News editorial adviser. “We’re hoping students, staff, alumni and sports fans everywhere buy it.”
Features on the 500th game in Spartan Stadium, the “No-fly Zone,” Sparty Watch and more are included in the book. Additionally, readers can relive the season’s progression through game-by-game analysis and predictions articles from State News sports reporters.
“The work wasn’t putting this book together. It comes from the reporters who have been covering the team all semester,” said Sofradzija. “Still, it was beneficial for reporters to see their work in a different media. The State News newsroom is a working laboratory.”
The e-book can be purchased for $2.99. All proceeds go toward supporting the work of the student journalists at the State News.
