Spartans make headlines for Homecoming 2014

From groundbreaking medical discoveries to a world-class art museum, Michigan State University is recognizing the historic and future impact of Spartans with its 2014 Homecoming “Spartans Make Headlines” Sept. 22-27.

The 2014 Grand Marshal, MSU alumna Jemele Hill, '97, is no stranger to headlines. Along with Michael Smith, Hill co-hosts ESPN2's "Numbers Never Lie." While at MSU, Hill was a regular columnist for The State News. She received a degree in journalism from MSU's College of Communication Arts and Sciences. Learn more about Hill here.

Once again, the "Glow Green" tradition will take place, which calls for all Spartans to switch out their porch or house lights to green ones during Homecoming week. Spartans can also show their Spartan Spirit by submitting a photo of themselves "Glowing Green" to the MSU Alumni Association Facebook page or by using the hashtag #GlowGreen on Twitter or Instagram to win one of three prizes.

Following is a list of some Homecoming events. For a complete list, including alumni tailgate locations, go here. Times and dates are subject to change and/or cancellation.
