A live viewing of the Sochi Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Feb. 7 in room C107 of McDonel Hall.
The event is related to the ongoing MSU Massive Open Online Course titled “Mega Events: Inside the Winter Olympics.”
Registration for the course is still open and encouraged. Participants are invited to offer their views on the unfolding events by tweeting to #MSUSOCHI and @MEPupdates or by posting to Facebook via the Mega Event Planning Group.
Viewers unable to attend the event can use social media to share their experiences during NBC’s delayed broadcast of the Opening Ceremony at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 7.
The viewing is hosted by the MSU School of Planning, Design and Construction and the Eli Broad College and Business. It is free and open to the public.
