MSU to host free conference on meeting teaching demands

The MSU College of Education is hosting a conference for teachers who aim to both provide the best known teaching strategies and produce students who excel on standardized tests.

The conference, titled Re-envisioning Assessment, Accountability and Data Use, will take place from 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. March 28 at the James B. Henry Center for Executive Development.

Speakers at the event will include Donald Heller, dean of the College of Education, Rick Stiggins, founder of the Assessment Training Institute, and a number of MSU faculty members specializing in teacher education.
