Logan Stark doing yoga1. Yoga helps former Marine recover from PTSD: Logan Stark participated in a nine-week experiment on whether yoga can benefit veterans with PTSD and said his mental and emotional recovery “was taken to another level.” Not only that, but the study by MSU psychology researchers provided perhaps the first physiological evidence that yoga improves brain function of people with PTSD. Spartan Saga:  John Shinsky knows first-hand the importance of creating opportunity for children As a child, the MSU alumnus and former Academic All-American Spartan football defensive tackle was orphaned and lived in foster care before being adopted and eventually receiving a scholarship from Michigan State.
