The Michigan State University Board of Trustees will meet at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the Board Room of the Hannah Administration Building.
Following are several items the board will consider.
- Adoption of the 2014-15 budget development guidelines and the 2015-16 preliminary general fund budget guidelines.
- Authorization to proceed with the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams – Completion of Civil and Technical Construction.
- Authorization to plan for upgrades to the Breslin Student Events Center, including concourse and concession upgrades and energy-saving enhancements.
- Authorization to plan for improvements on the Duffy Daugherty Football Building, including locker room and training room renovations.
- Approval of John Baker as dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine.
In addition, the board will receive reports from the president and board chairman; the gifts, grants and contracts report; and consider a number of personnel actions.
