MSU Board of Trustees to meet Friday

The Michigan State University Board of Trustees will meet at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the Board Room of the Hannah Administration Building.

Following are several items the board will consider.

  • Authorization to proceed with the final phase of infrastructure improvements along West Circle Drive. The work will include replacing steam tunnels, water mains and other improvements.
  • Approval of the authorization to proceed with renovations to the A-Wing of the Life Sciences Building, work that will include renovations of various workspaces, including teaching labs.
  • Authorization to proceed with the demolition of the former Grand Rapids (Mich.) Press building. Preliminary plans are to eventually build a research center at the location.

Other agenda items include reports from the president and board chairman, personnel actions and presentation of the Trustee GPA Award recipients.
