In observance of the Fourth of July, the Capital Area Transportation Authority will be closed on July 4. The holiday closure will affect all CATA services, including fixed-route, Spec-Tran, Redi-Ride, Connector, Rural Service and Shopping Bus operations.
Entertainment Express will conclude service early on Thursday evening. The trolley will run only until 11:30 p.m. with the last trip departing Grand River and Abbot for downtown Lansing at 11:12 p.m.
The Spec-Tran office will remain open on the Fourth of July from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. only to accept reservations for rides scheduled to occur on or after Saturday, July 5. The phone number is (517) 394-2282. Customers may also access myspectran.org to book, review and cancel trips online.
