Spartan Innovations announces boot camp for entrepreneurs

Spartan Innovations is sponsoring the GreenLight Entrepreneurship Boot Camp.

The boot camp is a week-long program that covers financing, business and finance planning, market analysis, managing change and launch strategy. It begins Aug. 19.

“We’re working to spur entrepreneurship throughout the region, from helping MSU faculty members interested in learning more about turning their concepts into robust businesses, to assisting local startups who have a great idea and need help getting off the ground ,” said Brian Abraham, executive director of Spartan Innovations.

“This is the first boot camp in the region that offers instruction, information and resources built on strong partnerships both inside and outside Michigan State University.”

Classes take place at the Breslin Center on MSU’s campus. The course fee is $500, which includes dinner each evening, parking, a Kindle Fire, five course books, materials and instruction time. The submission deadline for the class is Aug. 18.

Registration for the GreenLight Entrepreneurship Boot camp can be completed here.

The boot camp is being offered through a partnership between Spartan Innovations, Lansing Economic Area Partnership and the MSU Innovation Center.
