MSU offers graduate certificate in online teaching

The MSU College of Education now offers a graduate certificate in online teaching and learning. It prepares individuals to design and teach online courses.

The three classes required to complete the certificate are offered online.

After the graduate certificate is earned, students can transfer their credits to the Master of Arts in Educational Technology program. The online teaching program is in high demand across the state and nation.

“The increasing demand for online teachers will make those certified highly marketable,” said assistant professor Leigh Graves Wolf, who co-directs the Master of Arts in Educational Technology program. “Students will gain skills necessary for the 21st century virtual classroom, which offers endless possibilities for online teaching and learning.”
