Annual Holiday Arts and Crafts Show to return to MSU Union

The 50th annual Holiday Arts and Crafts Show will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 7 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 8 in the MSU Union.

Admission to the show is free.

The MSU Holiday Arts and Crafts Show is one of the largest indoor arts and crafts shows in the state. This year’s show includes many returning favorites as well as brand new artists. There will be a broad range of exhibitors selling handmade items. Items include: Candles, furniture, jewelry, home décor, aromatherapy, clothing, children’s toys, painting, photography, pottery, sculpture and more.

The University Activities Board annually sponsors two major regional arts and crafts shows at the MSU Union. The Holiday Arts and Crafts Show is held the first weekend in December. The Spring Arts and Crafts Show is held the third weekend in May in conjunction with the East Lansing Art Festival. Call the UAB Office at (517) 355-3354 for more information or go here.

The Hoplite Quartet, formed by four trombone students from the MSU College of Music, will travel to Spain in July to compete as the only U.S. group in the finals of the 2015 International Trombone Festival.
