MSU ranked as one of nation's top employers

EAST LANSING, Mich. — Michigan State University is one of the top 10 universities in the nation to work for, according to a recent ranking by the Business Research Guide.

In ranking MSU No. 6, the online publication calls the university “one of the top family-friendly colleges in the country” and highlights its Family Resource Center.

“The Family Resource Center is extensive and provides employees with nearly every imaginable service to make life more manageable,” the publication says.

MSU is the only Big Ten university on the list, joining three Ivy League colleges as well as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The University of Kansas ranks No. 1.

Business Research Guide’s “Top 10 Best Colleges and Universities to Work For” is part of a feature on the top 100 best employers to work for in the United States. The publication ranks employers in 10 categories including large companies, hospitals, nonprofits and technology companies.
