From May 17 to Aug. 8, between the hours of 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Michigan State University Physical Plant will perform fire hydrant flushing and valve cycling.
During this process, some discoloration of the water supply may occur throughout campus. While this discoloration is harmless in terms of sanitation and safety, it is possible that it may discolor clothing when used for laundry. Please check with your facility manager for details.
