Brooke Ingersoll: Improving lives

Brooke Ingersoll is an associate professor of psychology in the College of Social Science and director of the Autism Research Lab.

The lab is interested in understanding the social communication deficits seen in children with autism spectrum disorders and the development and evaluation of interventions that can improve these skills.

Ingersoll’s work addresses the challenges facing families. She helps them address the difficulties through innovative treatments that will ultimately improve their daily lives.
