Jelani Zarif is a cell and molecular biology doctoral graduate who researched androgen receptors in professor Cindy Miranti’s lab at the Van Andel Research Institute in Grand Rapids. Zarif has published in the journal Cancer Research and is a postdoctoral fellow at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
He is one of the outstanding graduate students who are being profiled as part of The Grad Factor project. The project will feature a new student each week.
