Michigan State freshman guard Nia Clouden added to her accolades this week when she was named United States Basketball Writers Association National Freshman of the Week after her performance against then-No. 16 Iowa on Dec. 30. She also garnered Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors on Monday.
The guard captured her first Freshman of the Week honor and became the first Spartan to earn the Big Ten award since Victoria Gaines on Jan. 2, 2017.
