Trio of Spartans named WGCA All-American Scholars
Three Michigan State women’s golfers were named to the 2017-18 Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-America Scholar Team, it was announced by the organization on July 3.
A total of 1,011 women’s collegiate golfers were recognized with the minimum qualification being a 3.5 cumulative GPA.
Sharp recorded the best scoring average of her career at 74.55 this past season. She had a season-high eighth place finish at the Mary Fossum Invitational and took 12th at the Big Ten Championships. Sharp has a 3.7 GPA and graduated with a degree in media and information.
