Michigan State senior Nicole Marek (Grosse Ile, Mich.) has been selected as a Pocock Honorable Mention All-American by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA).
Marek becomes the 12th All-American in the Spartan rowing program, joining first-team selections Rachel Miller (First Team 2001, 2003, Second Team 2002), Krista Buzzell (2002), Stacey Hicks (2004), Erin Robertson (2005), Christen Brown (2006), Emily Regan (2010) and Laura Cowal (2011) and second-team picks Elizabeth Shuster (2000), Kate Gay (2003), Roz Bialczak (2007) and Kellie La Pointe (2001).
Marek wrapped up her Spartan career this spring and was a mainstay in the Spartan NCAA boats throughout her career.
