After recording a career-best two interceptions in the win over Rutgers last Saturday, Michigan State sophomore cornerback Josiah Scott has been named the Big Ten Co-Defensive Player of the Week.
Scott and the Spartan defense helped limit Rutgers to just 217 yards of total offense (109 passing, 108 rushing) while forcing three turnovers.
Scott's first interception arrived in the third quarter, and he returned it 12 yards.
