Stephen Anthony joined MSU as an associate athletics director on July 5. Anthony’s primary responsibility at Michigan State University is working in the sport management unit, reporting to executive associate athletics director Shelley Appelbaum.
Anthony comes to Michigan State after having spent the last 19 years at Valparaiso University where he most recently served as senior associate athletic director for finance and administration. While at Valparaiso, he was directly involved with the department’s long-range budgeting and capital project planning, while also serving as a sport administrator for numerous sports programs during his tenure at the school.
