Michigan State guard/forward Miles Bridges was selected as the Big Ten Freshman of the Year by the conference’s media and coaches, the Big Ten office announced March 6. Bridges also earned second-team All-Big Ten honors, while fellow freshman Nick Ward was named honorable mention All-Big Ten. Eron Harris was named MSU’s recipient of the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award.
