The Michigan State University men’s basketball team is ranked No. 2 in the country in the USA Today Coaches’ Preseason poll, released on Thursday afternoon.
The Spartans received nine first-place votes and had 747 points in the poll, behind No. 1 Duke.
Michigan State Head Coach Tom Izzo and the Spartans’ captains, senior guard Lourawls “Tum Tum” Nairn Jr. and sophomore guard/forward Miles Bridges took part in B1G Media Day at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
