Langford's career night leads Michigan State past Stony Brook, 93-71

Michigan State's men's basketball team broke open a close game with a pair of second half runs en route to a 93-71 win over Stony Brook at the Breslin Center on Sunday afternoon.

Michigan State, ranked No. 2 in the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches polls, improves to 2-1 this season, while Stony Brook falls to 0-4.

Sophomore forward Nick Ward registered his first double-double of the year with a season-high 22 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Spartans, while sophomore guard/forward Miles Bridges scored 20 points and grabbed six rebounds.
