WKAR to premiere 'Invisible Wounds' Nov. 10

Michigan State University’s WKAR will host the premiere of “Invisible Wounds,” a documentary on the topic of post-traumatic stress disorder with United States veterans at 6 p.m. Nov. 10.

“Invisible Wounds” is a collaboration between MSU’s College of Communication Arts and Sciences and the School of Criminal Justice. It is a compilation of the perspectives of veterans, family members, law enforcement and medical professionals about PTSD.

For viewers, the documentary will define PTSD, its challenges and possible solutions. Several documentary participants will be in attendance, and attendees will have an opportunity to provide comments during a discussion after the premiere.

The entire production crew on this project featured undergraduate students and recent graduates from CAS.

The premiere will be held in Room 145 of the Communication Arts and Sciences Building. Parking is free on ramp No. 5, south of the CAS building. The venue is handicap accessible.

Please RSVP through email and contact Amol Pavangadkar at amol.pavangadkar@gmail.com, with questions.

This event is hosted by WKAR and sponsored by CAS, the Department of Media Information and Media Sandbox at MSU.
