Construction related to the installation of an emergency power generator at CATA will result in a temporary system wide power outage, scheduled to begin at 11:30 p.m. July 26. All CATA systems are expected to be up and running again by 6 a.m. July 27.
“To minimize any inconvenience to our customers, our systems will be taken down only after service concludes Saturday night,” CATA CEO/Executive Director Sandy Draggoo said. “We are working to ensure that the interruption is as seamless as possible and that service is restored as efficiently as possible.”
During this time, CATA systems will be unavailable, including but not limited to land lines, email, cata.org, myspectran.org and CATAnow real-time next-bus services.
