"Spring Awakening" will take the stage Feb. 24 through March 1 at Wharton Center's Cobb Great Hall as part of the MSU Federal Credit Union Broadway at Wharton Center series.
The Broadway musical won eight of its 11 nominations at the 2007 Tony Awards, including best musical, director, book, choreography, orchestrations, lighting design and featured actor.
Set against the backdrop of a repressive late-19th century Germany, the musical tells the story of teenage self-discovery and budding sexuality as seen through the eyes of three teens.
