Teaches public culture studies, deliberative rhetoric, and social documentary photography as a vehicle for social change in MSU’s Residential College in the Arts and Humanities. Director of the College of Arts and Letters' Public Humanities Collaborative, he also is senior editor of the literary journal Fourth Genre: Explorations in Nonfiction. The author of several books, David has also published more than 100 essays, articles, and commentaries.
