Last week, nearly 8,000 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students received their degrees from Michigan State University during commencement ceremonies.
They celebrated achievements and experiences that have prepared them to succeed and to make a better world.
With a graduation rate of 80%, the university is making progress toward its goal of increasing that rate to 82% by 2020. MSU also is closing opportunity gaps for lower-income, first-generation and underrepresented student populations.
