Save the date for Take Your Child to Work Day

This year's Take Your Child to Work Day, themed: There’s a Superstar Within You, will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 23 at locations across campus.

Each year units, departments and colleges across MSU’s campus participate in the Take Your Child to Work Day event, which is in connection with the National Take Your Sons and Daughters to Work Day.

All are invited to bring children, grandchildren, a best friend’s kid, the neighbor kid or another child to explore different programs and activities that are hosted across campus.

Most activities are geared for kids ages 8 to 16, but younger ages are welcome.

In past years, children were able to play co-anchors in the Spartan Newsroom, ice skate at Munn, learn about coding programs along with other potential career paths and even enjoy Dairy Store ice cream.

All interested MSU faculty, staff and administrators are encouraged to participate. This year's activities are still being coordinated, but to learn about the experiences of past participants, please visit MSU Worklife.

All departments, colleges and units have the opportunity to get involved by hosting a tour of their office or department, present a career exploration activity, donate unit-branded items for participant gift bags, or simply encourage co-workers to bring the child or children in their lives.

To host a tour or career exploration program, please fill out this form no later than March 13.
