MSU students earn Board of Trustees Awards 

At its meeting Friday, the Michigan State University Board of Trustees honored 17 graduating students with an award for achieving the highest scholastic average at the close of their last semester. 

All students earned a 4.0 GPA.

These students are:

David Creswell of Jenison. Creswell is an environmental studies and sustainability major in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. He attended Jenison High School.

Ashley DePew of Lincolnshire, Illinois. DePew is a psychology major in the College of Social Science. She is a member of the Honors College and attended Adlai E. Stevenson High School.

Gina Duff of Utica. Duff is a supply chain management major in the Eli Broad College of Business. She attended Utica High School. 

Emma Ford of Holly. Ford is a human biology major in Lyman Briggs College. She is a member of the Honors College and attended Holly Senior High School.

Grace Gelpi of Winston Salem, North Carolina. Gelpi is a music performance major in the College of Music. She is a member of the Honors College and attended University of North Carolina School of the Arts. 

Madelyn Hanton of Canton. Hanton is an environmental engineering major in the College of Engineering. She is a member of the Honors College and attended Plymouth High School.

Jonas Higbee of Ypsilanti. Higbee is a theater major in the College of Arts and Letters. He is a member of the Honors College and attended Washtenaw International High School. 

Melissa Houghton of Rochester. Houghton is a music education major in the College of Music. She is a member of the Honors College and attended Stoney Creek High School. 

Julie Javorka of Chicago Heights, Illinois. Javorka is a zoology major in the College of Natural Science. She is a member of the Honors College and attended Marian Catholic High School. 

Brielle Komosinski of Sterling Heights. Komosinski is a human biology major in Lyman Briggs College. She is a member of the Honors College and attended Utica Academy for International Studies. 

Kate Lafrenz of Stevensville. Lafrenz is an arts and humanities major in the Residential College in the Arts and Humanities. She attended Lakeshore High School. 

Amanda Pohl of Portland. Pohl is a kinesiology major in the College of Education. She is a member of the Honors College and attended Portland High School. 

Puneet Razdan of Grand Ledge. Razdan is a human biology major in Lyman Briggs College. He is a member of the Honors College and attended Grand Ledge High School.

Ryan Simon of St. Johns. Simon is a mechanical engineering major in the College of Engineering. He attended St. Johns High School. 

Thomas Stolarczyk of Commerce Township. He is a packaging major in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. He attended Walled Lake Northern High School.

Daniel Terner of Bloomfield Township. Terner is a human biology major in Lyman Briggs College. He attended Bloomfield Hills High School. 

Raquel Zwick of Livonia. Zwick is a human biology major in the College of Natural Science. She is a member of the Honors College and attended Winston Churchill High School.
