Playing in her home of Minneapolis, sophomore forward Nia Hollie scored a career-high 14 points as the Michigan State women's basketball team dropped an 83-77 nailbiter to Minnesota at Williams Arena in Minneapolis on Sunday.
The Spartans fall to 12-5 overall and 2-2 in Big Ten play. The Golden Gophers improve to 13-4 overall and 2-2 in league contests.
