MSU celebrates 60 years of career services

For more than a half century, MSU has offered placement and networking services to its community. It was during the 1955-56 school year when Jack Breslin became the founding director of the Placement Service at MSU, a new office offering centralized placement services for students and alumni.

Sixty years later, MSU students and alumni look to the Career Services Network for guidance and support in tackling that age old question, “What do I want to be when I grow up?” MSU’s Career Services Network provides a multitude of resources and tools as people explore their “path to purpose.”

MSU faculty, staff, administrators, along with employers and past staff are invited to stop by the Student Services Building suite of offices for an open house to formally mark the milestone. The Path to Purpose celebration will be held from noon to 2 p.m., May 12. The program begins at 1 p.m.

Find more information and register for the event on the Career Services Network website.
