Lawver selected as new director of campus services

Adam Lawver has been named the new director of campus services at Michigan State University.

He will provide leadership and strategic vision for campus services including custodial, landscape, recycling and transportation, as well as oversee the MSU Surplus Store.

“I'm confident Adam will bring the energy and skills necessary to the job, as we encounter new and exciting challenges both now and into the future,” said Dan Bollman, associate vice president of MSU’s Infrastructure Planning and Facilities.

Lawver’s goals include helping campus customers advance their knowledge and transform their lives through MSU’s mission.

“When people arrive to campus they should experience an aesthetically pleasing, safe and sustainable campus environment,” Lawver said. “The potential to positively impact our customer’s lives is what motivates me every day and I am excited about the opportunity to work with amazing people for an incredible, impactful mission.”

Lawver has held multiple roles at MSU, including interim director of landscape services. Prior to MSU, Lawver worked with landscaping firms in Michigan. Lawver has an MBA in integrative management, a master’s in construction management and a bachelor’s of landscape architecture, all from MSU.
