No. 12 Michigan State has advanced to the regional round of the 2017 NCAA Division I Volleyball Tournament and will take on conference foe (RV) Illinois in Round of 16 on Friday.
Host and overall No. 1 seed Penn State will play Missouri in the first regional semifinal of the day at 2 p.m. followed by MSU-Illinois at 4 p.m. The winners of Friday's contests will meet at 8 p.m. on Saturday. Games will be played at Rec Hall on the Penn State campus.
